Hi,
Just wanted to ask a few quickies.
1.Whenever i turn the car off both the trip (trip a and trip B ) counters reset to 0. I want to know how much mileage im getting from a full tank so arnt they meant to carry on until i reset them?
2.Also the clock (the one that tells the time hahaha) sets back to 1.00 everytime the car is restarted.
Would appreciate your help

Thats not right, at least compared to the IS200 anyway, the trip counters keep going - cant imagine why though, sorry!

That would happen to mine when you disconnect the battery. Seems like the battery might be on the way out. Does the car cold start ok? Maybe check any fuses relating to the ecu that maybe be gone. fuse box in the engine bay, one drivers side footwell and one passengers side footwell. Is there any aftermarket sounds in the car?

a brand new battery has been put in and it starts perfect from cold,so its probably not that. My friend also suggested that is could be a blown fuse. It has an aftermarket tv/dvd/navigation unit and thats it.

Permanent live feed is down. Check the 7.5A fuses - they are the perm to the instrument panel. Can't remember if its the drivers or passenger footwell.

Hi,
I checked all the 7.5A fuses in both footwells and none of them are blown. Any other suggestions?
