When you press the start button (with your foot off te brake)

it goes

OFF
ACC
ON
START (PRESS BRAKES)

when you go from acc to on the instruments lights go on, and the dials sweeps from 0 - 160 and the rev counter too.

but i always get this noise, anyone else get this?

Definitely not...never heard anything like it.

I had this, and my instrument cluster was replaced under warranty, which is a pain, as the odometer no longer shows the correct milage. You would think with it being electronic, they would be able to put the mileage to the correct reading!!

That sucks! the whole instrument cluster? im sure the individual parts can be replaced!...i think il live the the noise!

Mine doesn't do it either.

Probably better getting it done as you may get incorrect readings if it is something rubbing.

Find yourself getting a speeding ticket one day perhaps.
