I think you get a better suspension system with the SEL and a s;igh few more toys. A long time ago L=levinson, but we all have that now. It is very hard to work out from Lx website what the differences are

I have just bought a 450h SE-L. I was going to buy a GS300 SE but the spec changed after ordering - the difference between an SE and SEL is now more than the spolier and alloy wheels - equally the SE-L no longer come with a sunroof or ACC etc.
The Lexus UK website isn't helpful - try www.drivethedeal.co.uk - its got the best prices but also the best info in relation to spec's. Using Drive The Deals pricing I bought a 450h SE-L for £ 39,500 from a Lexus dealer - a discount of over £ 5,000 !!!!! They currently have GS300 SE's for £ 33.5k which can be used to negotiate a good deal with a Lexus dealer
