How do you get the rear deck grill off the stock subwoofer? I managed to pop the front two clips but the rear of the grill is locked down from somewhere and I cant get a vantage point on it. Anyone swapped this out before?

Well Done ....So what have you swapped it with ... Did you also change the amp?

Put in a lightning audio dual voice coil 10". Got it from a guy who works at rockford for free. I had seen the cheap lightnings around but this is different. It weighs about 25 pounds and has a 400 watt rms. It's running free air for now on the rear deck. My amp (orion) is dimming the headlights as the bass hits so im putting in a cap this weekend. Not bad for free air, i would have never gone this route if I didn't need the trunk space.

have you cjanged the full set up then or is it a 2ohm speaker?

Ironically enough it is a DVC (dual 4 ohm voice coils) wired to 2ohms. I am running the stock head unit with a monster cable line leveler from the sub out to bridged amp @ 2 ohms. I've just added the bass so far. A couple weekends from now I'll start swappin out the doors and what not.

Good luck with taking the door lining off...
