just been looking for some gas bonnet strut kits and seen some chrome ones on ebay but they were for vw's and vauxhall.
i was just wondering if they"d fit or not

You'd have to find out the extended and compressed lengths.

But they dont come with the specific Lexus brackets so you'd have to get the design for them, then by the time you've got the brackets copied and made, i suspect you may as well just buy a ready made kit.

Like from Prolex or somewhere.

i thought they were small L brackets

the prolex ones do look a bit expensive for what they really are

At that price it must be worth a shot I would've thought. There must be plenty of places to bolt a small bracket under the bonnet.

I got them from Prolex and they fit a treat..might be expensive but end of the day u know it fits, cos u get all the bits u need, struts, brackets and ball joints.

Its not just a small "L" bracket,

The ones on the top of the arch are "L" shaped but the ones on the bonnet as specially fabricated to fit between the bonnet and the hinge and are shaped to fit perfectly.
