What type do i need & who should i buy it from

I replaced the OEM Lexus one with a Bosch AsiaSilver (or Silverasia) one and I think it's better than the original one. Cost about £45 I think from Allparts.

Think the one you need is 6AD but can't remember for sure. I was lucky as there was an Allparts near me so just went in and picked one up, but people on here have used the delivery service and they seem pretty good.

If the battery choice comes down to similar prices, go for the best name/guarantee and the
biggest Ah ( Amp/Hour) rating. The higher the number the more powerful (in theory).

Previously I used a company called etyres and they come to you, which was handy as mine died suddenly
(in my Honda Accord).

I went to halfrauds and got ripped off paid £80 ish!!!

I needed a battery but if i'd of known the difference in price i would have waited till the next day and gone to the dealer!!!!

Wow, I remember going to Halfords when I needed to replace mine and it seems I was lucky that they didn't have one that would fit (due to the weird size that the Japs use)

Sorry, just checked it out and I was talking rubbish, didn't pay £45, paid £65 when I replaced mine

I still think the Bosch one is a better battery, car sounds much healthier when it starts than it used to, so I'd still go with that one

Not sure if I got a dud set when I got them, but I didn't like those aerotwin wipers and sent them back. Love the way they look, but they made far too much noise compared to the standard ones...........

As the standard ones cost so little, seems silly to pay more for ones that I wasn't happy with. Think I must have got a bad set though as many others seem to be pretty happy with them

Thought my battery was stuffed,the car would not start if I left it 4 a day or 2
but got a shot of a trickel charger from a mate & I've had no problems since
even if I leave it for a week without starting it
so thats even cheaper

Was lookin @ buyin 1 but my battery is the original so think it is on its way its got a blue eye thing on it, on the sticker it shows a red bit in middle of the blue eye but mine hasnt got the red

& iv had 2get the AA out twice now

Its money i can put 2wards the battery as my neighbours r pants so carnt borrow 1

Bloody hell, I did buy mine a while back now but that's some crazy inflation!

At that price, the Lexus battery from a dealer sounds like the better buy!

Ill probably get it local same battery but £70

Costco sell the asia batt.......i had to end up getting a hafalrds HD one as my clamps would not fit the terminals on the bosch

The trickel charger plugs into the wall and leave to charge all night might be all it needs for happy motoring again, lol

wouldnt rely too much on the indicator it doesnt always show the state of the battery - its only for 1 cell also so not so accurate as the other celss could be dead (
as in my case)

At last i finaly got my Bosch Battery yesterday taken me long enough
