I've been offered a service plan by my local Lexus dealer which covers my next 2 services on my IS200. The cost of this is around the 550 (including VAT) mark and covers the 50K and 60K services - it also includes a free MOT. Basically you spread the cost over 16 months at 0% APR.
This seems like very good value for money to me, as I gather the 60K service alone is something like 900 quid.
At this price I'm concerned that there may be a catch that I'm not aware of - has anyone signed up to one of these plans and what's your experience of them? Am I missing something or is this just a very good price?

ive just had 60k and it was about 460 for the service hadto have some other belts replaced and air filter and total was 620.
but they also wanted to change the timing belt at £414 but cars going soon so didn't have that done.
ive got free mot's for life with lookers too
so i'd say 550 for both services is good

That is really good, especially if it includes the MOT as well. Is it just your dealer doing that or is it a deal across all dealers?

It's sounding more and more like a good deal to me.
It's Lexus Liverpool who are doing it, they have a loyalty club there now (free to join) which gives you discount on parts and labour.
I'm wondering about things like the timing belt though - I thought this was changed as standard on the 60k service. Maybe the cost they've quoted don't include things like this?
