I am new to loc so thought i would ask about local meetings??? are there set people who arrange them? are they regular? and so on.I would really like to meet and see the cars that people have in loc,chew over the fat and all that.I can only see major mettings on here,and allthough great they do involve a cost.

there are lots of local meetings
but does depend on how local you are or how far you can travel

most of the general LOC meetings are not expensive, they normally involve a major attraction so you are paying for what you get, majority of those prices are discounted
the exception is the Nurburgring trip although it costs a fair bit, i think everyone will agree its worth every penny

Johnboy is LOC`s meets organiser, he has organised quite a few meets for this year, but feel free to post up a meet that you fancy and see who else will come along

Some meets only costs you petrol money, like the one in Birmingham this week.

It's "only" 1.5 hrs away from Wiltshire (based on Swindon) , not far when compared to some travelling from London or Manchester.

A good friend of mine owns a curry house with a 20-30 space car park in lyneham(just outside wotton bassett).Im sure he would not mind us using it,may be with the longer light in the evenings we could have a sheery and bite to eat.If there is enough of us im sure i could get a few quid off.Any one interested?

Yup, lyneham is just down the road from me - and a fun drive as well

Id be up for that if there was a few of us...and as long as it was at a weekend...have to get up at 0450am in the week.
