Full Version: Grinding When Steering...

I have an RS200 Auto.

When steering at low speed i'm getting a grinding noise which feels like its coming through the foot rest. I'm not getting any grinding from the steering wheel...

I've dropped it off at the garage this morning and noticed on the way over, when getting the grinding i'm getting interference through the speakers!

which is even more weird...

any thoughts what this might be?

Sorry can't help mate

you could try asking in the IS200 forum as the streering mechanics are the same as the Tezza, you may get a bit more help

I had this on my first GS, made it embarassing to turn into junctions, etc. if there were people around to hear it! laugh.gif
In my case it was the lower ball joints. Bought replacements from Sewells in Dallas, TX. Had them fitted by local Toyota dealer.
