Had a intermittent misfire develope, which by the time i sourced all the parts to change - dizzy, rotor arm, leads and plugs it was a constant misfire in 1 or 2 cylinders, changed all them parts over yesterday and its still the same!!

Now wondering if the power transistor unit is on its way out, is there another part i have missed that could cause this?

cheers guys

My mark 1 used to have an intermittent misfire and that was due to a crack in the exhaust manifold. It used to get so hot it glowed red.

Cheers guys.

One thing i did miss out, is that it is LPG converted, so injectors are ruled out as its t conventional air intake system.
Missing the same on lpg and petrol.
The manifold one interesting though ...

Anyway, i just did a 200 mile trip and the misfire has gone completely, cant beleive it !! odd...
