I have been thinking about having my e/c/u remapped or exchanging for an upgraded one.Has anyone done this, and what difference did it make?
The places iv looked at are quoting around £300-350

You could stick a Camcon VVTi controller thingy that a couple of folks have put in their cars on here. Definitely does make a difference, but not in the league of forced induction.
If you have a couple of grand lying around, your best value for money would be to import a single turbo kit from America and get that added on. However, the suspension and brakes would also need to be upgraded.
Best to just waft around with your elbow on that big fat armrest!

Look at the handling & brakes.
Idea being you don't have to slow down (so much) and can brake later so carry more speed through the corners.............
bit radical but look at getting some really lightweight alloys............these will reduce the unsprung weight reduce the effort required to turn the wheels and improve accelleration........
read an article on it and was fascinated buy it
