As the topic says, has anyone fitted the US type fogs to their car and is there any probs with the wiring of them, been trying to find a write up on them in the club post,

Think there just a standard fit matey if i remember as i was watching a set on ebay the other week and they look the same at the rear, as the ones i've got fitted to mine but with a yellow filter?

The ones ive got has the wire sticking out the back with a connector on, so i was wondering if anyone had to modify the wires

Can you get a pic up matey as that sounds like the newer ones that you have using a h3 bulb which were fitted after 2003 and not the 9006 like the ones in your headlights??

I purchased a set on eBay from the US, came from a pre-2003 model and use the standard 9006 bulbs. Direct replacement for my existing ones.

They look nice mate looks like im modifying the wires which i didnt want to do

Could you just not split them and nick the insides?

Or get a HID kit for the fogs?

3000-4000k HID kit would be how i'd go mate....

I bought some from the states a few years ago, they were the revised versions as in your picture with the cap on the back of the bulb......i chopped of the connectors and soldered the wires together Click!!

How do you take your fog lights off to get to the light bulb's them selfs??? I've been trying with mine for afew days now but no luck.... anyone ?

You dont get the fogs out, you turn the wheel, then peel back the plastic arch cover but removing the clips and reach in from the back and the holder twists and unplugs same as the headlights.
