What with all the doom and gloom, the coming world wide recession and hammering down of property values in the South, do you intend to adjust your spending plans?

Personally I am not going to let myself and my familly suffer due to circumstances I cannot control, so I am going to the right thing and spend like hell.

How about you, are you worried or unconcerned?

If you need any help spending your money, just let me know :D

Economic things will probably improve once Britain officially becomes the next US state.

I take the opposite view. My wife and I have no debts, own our cars outright and we've paid most of our mortgage off. It took some penny pinching to do it, but at least we won't suffer when the economy goes tits up.

I've got friends that are mortgaged up to their necks and then went and re-mortgaged just to buy a wide screen telly and get their front drive done! They just can't see that they'll be living in a cardboard box if interest rates go up.

I don't know what the best thing to do is. I suppose that my friends that buy cars, tv's etc on tick over years and years get what they want when they want it and have more fun than we do!
