i have noticed a bit of a puddle of water underneath the engine.from what i can see it seems to be leaking near the sheild plate of the flywheel gearbox which is in the centre.i have to fill my car up twice a day.i cant see any pipes loose or cracked and it was fine last week then just started.any ideas please
need help fast as the buyer is coming to collect the car soon end of this week

Possible cylinder head gasket failure......any sludge etc appearing on the dipstick?

no the oil is crystal clear as the same for the transmission fluid and the oil cap is clear and the engine doesnt over heat or fluctutate.

Could be the water is creeping from elsewhere, try to look at the front where the water pump is
look for water stains where it may be running down.

Could just be a leaking water pump.........
