i recently bought the es 300, it has 68,000 miles on it. i bought the car in RI and i registered it in MA. the dealer put a RI inspection sticker on it. When i wne to get it inspected in MA it failed emissions. it brought up 2 codes- p0330 and p0325- it talked to a few people and they say this mean knock sensors 1 & 2 malfunction. another thing they said was that when they turned on the car the check engine light didnt light up- which means some1 disconnected it... is this dealer scamming me? is it illegal to sell a car, registered in massachusetts and w/ a RI sticker on it. how much do the knock sensors usually go for? PLEASE HELP

You'd probably be best asking this on the US forums - we don't have the ES over here in the UK, so very people will have knowledge of it...
