Hi guys and gals.
My Is needs her timing belt done and seeing as I dont want to be fleeced by the dealer I thought I would ask for reccomendations for an independant in Scotland,preferably central or east coast area, I am in Fife,who could be trusted to carry out the work for a decent price.
I would be happy to travel further if the reccomendation was high enough,only the best for my Lex.

Hey matey, wish I could help you out here but I dont have a clue, mines is due in a few thousand miles so hopefully someone will tell us a good place to go!

Any decent mechanic will be able to do a cam belt, surely someone in Scotland knows one?

just go to local garages to get quotes and see how keen they are. like scorps said any decent mechanic can do this job
i just had mine done.....cam belt kit,water pump,p.steering belt,alt.belt and a/c belt fitted for just under £300

when i had my impreza i use to use rjm in glenrothes b4 i moved over the water m8 give them a shout
