Hi guys,

Very shortly I shall be installing the following suspension mods to my car:

Tein Flex Coilovers
Tein EDFC with Motors
Tein Front Strut Brace
Rear Strut Brace
Front A-Under chasis Brace (need to source a rear one wink.gif)
Toms 6-links uprated suspension links
TRD AntiRoll bars (with TRD bushes)
Toms ARS Cancellor bar

Obviously this will be a complete transformation in the way the car handles and steers. biggrin.gif While I am at it and paying for the labour, is is their anything I should have done at the same time while the suspension is off the car? I.e any parts or bushes that could do with replacing or are common to fail?

I had the balljoints and bushes checked when I first got the car, but I know from experience with the BMW that when you stiffen up the suspension, stress is transfered to the next weak point and then that can fail! ohmy.gif

Car has done 68K miles in 11 years.

Thanks,
Anees

i would recommend, front lower balljoints and tie rod ends (inner and outer).

Also TRD bushes (the ones that replace the ones in the suspension arms)

You're correct, stiffening your suspension WILL transfer greater forces onto the softest parts of the suspension i.e. whatever is remaining as oem.
