Full Version: Which Tyres Should I Buy For Comfort/performance

Hi all.

I'm thinking about getting 18" rs5's in white for my Altezza. smile.gif As the suspension is standard, I would like to know your opinions on the right tyre size for comfort and performance. I'm thinking of 225/40/18 or 215/40/18. As I'm on standard suspension, I don't want the profile so low so it looks like a tractor!

Any recommendations?

I'm thinking of getting them from ebay, item 380015660949.

Has anyone ever bought anything from xqusite_automotive?

Thanks all,

RJ.
Noel
With a 7.5j rim the 225 will suit better.... but i wouldn't put Nankangs on any sporty car....

Standard on the older "Z" is 215/45/17(7j rim), newer 2002+ have 225/45/17 (7.5j rim) smile.gif

Hi Noel,

Sorry I'm late getting back on this thread. Can you tell me why is there a size difference with the Z's? I thought all the IS200's and the Altezza wheels are the same?

Cheers, RJ

P.S, What other differences are there from other Altezza's and the Z's? wacko.gif
