Has anybody used the Flexi Wipe Blades, I saw the valeter at my dealer using one instead of a chamoix, just wondered if anybody had any comments, are they any good?

Absolutely brilliant product! I get the worst of with one then use a chamois leather, but it is much quicker as I don't have to ring the leather out all the time.

Great gadget...... bought a Turtle wax one from Halfords about 8 months ago and cut my car drying time from 30/40 mins to 10mins... :yahoo:

Great buy, my wife uses the blade and I follow on with the chamois, cuts the cleaning time in half :D

Be cautious when using it and don't do what I did. I managed to scratch my car a few times before realising that I had very fine amounts of grit on the blade. Luckily it was light enough to polish out. I tend to stay away from it now

They do say guaranteed not to scratch, I guess if you got grit on your sponge or polishing cloth that would scratch too.

I was thinking about getting one too, but i have heard some bad results about them, that sort of put me off..

Are there different makes of these blades then?? Turtle Wax, AutoGlym etc..
ricky_is200
I've got two different types and one seems much better than the other. I can't remember the names, I'll have to look when I get home later.

I've never had any problems with it scratching, but I do always make sure the blade is clean.
