Now that I have sorted the speakers I want to fit a iPOD addapter so I though since I am removing the radio, I maight as well change some of the blown bulb in the head unit. To my supprise my local dealer cannot source the bulbs but would sell me a new head unit at £1700.

Does anyone know where I can get the bulbs from and what part numbers they are

Thanks

By the way I have a 1993 LS400 going for spares or repair if anyone is interested. Its done rocket ship miles but has only let me down once, MOT until 22 June. Needs upper front wishbones at least to get a ticket.

Hi

All I can suggest is take them out and try Maplins or someone similar...

Good Luck

I have a scrap printed circuit board from a 1994 pioneer head unit with the bulbs still in and working which should be the same bulbs ( it's free to you, just pay the postage cost)

Thanks for the offer Steve, but I manauged to purchase a secondhand radio at a very reasonable price.

I just cant believe that the illumination cannot be changed by simply replacing the bulbs
