The Accord was valeted prior to my purchase, and looked amazingly good even in black.
Since it's gotten quite dirty over the past month, I take it down to BP to use their jetwash.
Ooops, the brush that I used has left light scratches everywhere and in the petrol station the car looked terrible.
I don't have a great deal of time at the moment to spend an entire day detailing it to get rid of the scratches..
Do you knowledgeable chaps know of any good polish that I could use that I can get from Halfrauds and apply and take off in an hour or two that would help?
Thanks!!!

autoglym SRP is very good, but is filler based and will hide them but won't get rid.
scratch X is good, but will require a lot of elbow grease.
will you be doing it by hand??
if so,i'd be tempted to use the SRP initially and see what the results are like

the black colour magic is pretty good ive used it before. As long as the scratches aren't too deep it should do the trick matey

Sorry I don't get the detailing jargon but SRP is the Super Resin Polish right? Is that the best stuff for sorting out swirls and stuff then? I've got some serious swirls in my paint at the mo, have been putting it off for ages but planning to do it soon - I normally use Zymol which is pretty good and isn't too hard work either but is this stuff better?

yes mate, it is.
if you read the review on detailing world, you will see how well it compares with many other top rated products. I'm off to buy some.

The other option is to take it to a bodyshop and ask them how much to mop & polish your car , this will eliminate the swirls , that is until you go to the B.P. again and wash it with the brush / jetwash
Regards.

Maneesh, If ever using the brush, jet wash it first, gets all the grit and s**t out of it.
Its normally cause the inconsiderate ******* before has just left it on the floor.
