Does possibly sound like the belt, have you checked the bypass though?
Could not be closing properly?

i took my supercharger off last night to get my power stearing belt and thought i would try blowing through the bypass when closed and it let some air through it.
is it supposed to let a small amount through and if not have u got any idea on how to fix it?
a small amount will go thru as its not a perfect seal, i assume u moved it to the closed position with ur hands?? there is a small adjuster screw that u can use but norm it doesnt need touching, u want to check if the cable mechanism is pulling the valve closed enough also

yeah i done it by hand. it wouldnt turn anymore even when the screw was adjusted. shame if they do all leak. was hoping that wasnt the case cos it could of been the reason for my boost leak
i have a spare here so ill have a look at that in the morning and see if thats the same - but i dont think it is.

ok thank u
i checked my spare and yes a small amount of air does leak past but that is to be expected as its just a flap and not a proper seal - if yours is leaking a lot then get a replacement they are not expensive.
but i would check your pipe clips first especially the" U " pipeowrk at the bumper corners.
