Went to wash the car earlier......

Gave it a rinse down, went to get all the bits and bobs i was going to be using, came back and the car was littered with bits of leaves. censored.gif

OK, so i rinsed the car again, finished collecting the things i needed, came back to the car and again it was littered with bits of leaves. censored.gif censored.gif

So again, i rinsed the car and began shampooing. After doing one panel, i looked around the car and it had leaf pieces on it again!! really getting censored.gif with it by this point!! Couldn't work out where they were coming from as the garden didn't seem to be swilling much up in the air. So i watched for a few minutes and turns out that its all being blasted from the sycamore trees behind the house and over the car porch, and because the car was wet, the dried leaves were more than happy to rest there.

So instead of a quick 1 hour clean, its taken nearly 2.5 hours. Not happy, but c'est la vie i guess!!

Rant over, lol.

Haven't you invested in a leaf blower to dry the car with?
If you had, then they'd not have stuck, since you'd have blown them away before they touched down.
D'uh! Get with the program Rob! laugh.gif

Still would've taken 2 odd hours, but think of the fun you'd have been having battling with the blighters.
