Hi guys,

This week I had the Toms rear cancellor bar installed to fix my Aristo's shakey backend problem. My mate and I did it ourselves (well.......... I watched :P)

We plugged the "cancellor plug" that came with the Toms ARS bar into the ARS computer and that removed the TRC and VSC warning lights.

The ARS warning light is still on the dash. The second part of the instructions are supposed to remove it.

The English instructions are not that clear and I don't understand what we are supposed to do to get the ARS light off.

Could some one please take a look at the attached extract from the instructions and see if it makes more sense to them? It talks about using tape?? Are we supposed to cut some wires?

Instructions are attached.

Thanks,
Anees

First glance made me think you put tape over the pins it mentions so that when you plug it back in, they do not connect up. Gotta love japanese translations
Rob
think it means u remove the pin and then tape the end up afterwards

Lol Paul! Good one! :D

Thanks to the help. All I had to do was pull the mentioned wires from the connector plug out of the pin they belong too and tape the wire up. Now sorted and no warning lights on the dash! :)

Happy days :D
