Got a few pounds to fleece this month and i must buy something for the lex and was thinking about the induction kit from prolex. First of all, is there any gains from this apart from a nicer sound from it, anyone got one? Seems easy enough to fit and how often do i have to change the air filter at the end (comes with power enterprise filter). oh and i only have standard engine.

Good mod to start with & easy to fit. You do not have to change the filter just have to clean out the dirt every once in a while, I usually do it every 6 weeks. As for power increase it would only give a few bhp but will give a louder roar from the engine. Works fine with a standard engine. Hope this helps.

EDIT: Thought you had a charger!

If you dont have a charger, I would still reccommend an induction kit. Will give improved sound and throttle response, and a very small increase in power. Alwas works better with full exhaust system.

Filters usually last for life, with cleaning at regular service intervals.
