Hi all
Just found a great site when trying to order that p/s o-ring through Toyota
Its the www.lexus-tech.eu and it has repair manuals and other good info etc. So i registered to it to have a nosy and was gutted when i found its mainly post '94 cars. Did they forget to do a deal with Haynes Manuals or were they greedy???
Now we can't complain cos its good they have these things, but common sense tells me that the older the car, the more likely you are to fix it yourself - I know if i owned a post 2000 Lexus it'd probably go to a Lexus garage or reputable private mechanics.
So is there anybody out there who knows if/where such manuals exist.
Don't ask me which, i know there are several for the other models, so i presume there are several for our forgotten LS400's

There are 2 main manuals and another just for electrics, I got mine from a member on here who worked
at a Lexus garage.
Not sure if he is still on.
These are nothing like Haynes !
Cost around £150, but pay for themselves pretty quick at Lexus prices.....
Have a look on www.lexls.com.......plenty good info.

Thanks Royt,
Came across an american version of the manual on e-bay. Its in PDF format for around a tenner so might be worth that if they're similar models. I presume i just check the engine model is the same.
I'll post a topic if its any good.
Did you get the battery for your key? Its a very informative owners site dont you think? - its saved me a small fortune
See you around

Yes great site for help, also the USA site is good as well, they must have plenty of LS's over there.
If you get a problem, put it on and you will get plenty of replies if members can help.
I just wish everyone would follow up with the info if they fix a problem, so everyone learns a bit more.
I have saved plenty of money with help off this and the USA site.
I did get the battery OK once I had the number, unfortunately it was'nt for my own LS, I never did get
the remote fob with it.
cheers
