Do we have a list of what we have to-date

No list yet, as nothing has been offered. Apart from Rabster and Wozza.
I know there are people who have offered to help over the weekend, and we will sort out soon, what needs to be done.
I will find out what the situation is regarding power.
We could do with chairs, tables, Drink, drink, and more drink!!

Im also open to suggestions on how we should have the cars laid out, do we have the different models in there own section, or do we mix them up ??
This is for us to make the most of,and have fun. so if you have any suggestions, please say!
Have managed to get hold of 200 meters of Buntin in red, white and blue.
Can get more if needed.
Can also get some Glow Sticks for Wozza's Rave

I will bring a couple of plastic storage bins to put beer & ice into ,but they aren't that big so more will be needed...
Are we sorted on the generator issue as it will need a fairly large output to power the sound rig/any lights needed
so we don't trip over each other.
I have 2 fold up chairs & will be bringing them too.

Power there is 'Standard UK three pin'....Generator (think Gord was hopefully sorting (he on hols at mo)), so I'm guessing a few ext leads may be handy too

Can bring a load of plastic plates, knifes, forks, spoons, cups (about 30 sets I think) and also rubbish sacks
Loads of cans of beer and bottles of Coke, D-Coke, Lemonade etc, going shopping prior to leaving on the Thursday
Have a basic medi kit in the car - ie - plasters, cream, slings, tape etc......

I think Rabster & John need to have a chat about the level of power needed in watts,
I think Gord's wold probably be ok for general purposes, but maybe underpowered for a full sound rig.

Trying to find out the locations of the sockets at the mo - I'm guessing they are mains rather than generator powered as there are generators available to hire (need to book before 1st Aug) options as follows: (price's are for Thurs to Sun)
TBH I have no idea about gennies & power outputs....so I'm hoping you do
750W portable petrol generator = £28.00 + VAT
4kva all day running tank generator = £46.00 + VAT
Surge protectors = £10.00 + VAT each

If we have a socket on our plot we may well be ok, if not Rabster would be the one to ask about what power output we would need.
We would probably need some form of light inside the marquee as well as the sound rig ?
johnboy
Jul 28 2008, 02:59 PM
There is power onsite, but unfortunately we cant use it, so we have to use generators.

Ermmmmmm I think I made a mistake in saying there were sockets....I've just re-read the info & the bit I got it from was actually on the generators, they have a standard socket for the extension lead rather than a 16a 'commando' socket

So.....quite simply we need a generator & a long lead so we don't get fumed out
