Passenger airbag cover on dash of my Altezza is very sticky.

Guy at the car care center told me its a combination of the heat from the sun and the protectant I'm using on the dash.

Tried cleaning it with some water and a cloth but the fibres from the cloth are now stuck onto it.

Can anyone suggest a solution to cleaning it.

BTW the dash is black

Maybe a damp, slightly soapy sponge?

IPA (diluted 50% with deionised water) - available from your local pharmacy/chemists.
