Hi i was stopped at traffic lights - they went green i pressed the accelerator n the car stalled, so i started it again but it wouldnt start sounded weird like the imobliser was on but it wasnt (red light was off) everyone behind me was beeping was sooo embaressing but then like 5min later i tried to start it and it started first time

Has the car developed a problem? If so what can it be? Is there any checks i sould make?

also there is a rattle coming from around the under side of the front passanger, any idea on that? can it be linked 2 the car not starting?

Had the same thing a couple of times, most recently this week. Took about 60 seconds of turning the engine over (with the weird sound you mentioned) to get it to fire. The common factor when I've experienced it is that the car had been moved a very short distance and switched off shortly beforehand. I've put it down to the engine being flooded with excess fuel? It has always been fine starting after these incidents.

Might be worth taking it to someone with a diagnostics tool and see if there are any error codes thrown up?
