Anyone had problems with the rear seat belts jamming?

When putting rear facing baby seat in I get so far then the seat belt locks and doesn't let anymore belt out, the only way to sort the problem is to let the belt return all the way back then start all over again.

Usually happens half way through puting the seat in, its a right pain in the censored.gif as by this time I have looped it through the various holders on the baby seat I then need to unhook them all to allow the belt to return to home position.

If you pull them all the way out a ratchet system kicks in and the will go back in but you cannot pull them out anymore until they have fully retracted. Sounds like you pulling them all the way out on the odd occasion and setting off the ratchet mechanism (designed for strapping things in tight without the belts pulling out again afterwards).

Thanks Tiger,

Could be a problem then as the child seat is using just about the full length of the belt...
