Does anyone know if a specif tool is needed to add a general company disclaimer to our out going mail?

I work for a small company that doesnt have an IT department, well we do sort of....... its me  so i get asked to do something like this that I havent a clue about and need to learn about it.

I've google'd it and it seems like a seperate bit of software is required, wats more there doesnt seem to be a microsoft version of whats needed, so can anyone recommend one if it is needed?

Just add it as part of the autosignature?

everyone already has signatures setup. and the disclaimers quite long.

You haven't said what sort of mail system you are using.... most mail servers can do this for you, or alternatively if you have some sort of mail filtering system like MailSweeper you can have it done here. Otherwise, you will need to do it manually as part of the signature on each client. Can you not cut and paste it into an email and get your users to add it to the bottom of their signatures?

yeah surely a stationary can be setup or could you not put your disclaimer on the internet as such, and have the link at the bottom of the email?

i dont know im just guessing. lol

microsoft exchange and i think its GFI that handles our mail.

id rather do it properly rather than by adding it to signatures.

have just been emailed by a mate, telling me where to go in the GFI configuration. Thanks for the suggestions though guys.
