Here's the full project for auto mirror closure. (At last).

I will soon be extending this to all windows and sunroof (tilt & slide). This can easily be added at a later date.

Included is a complete circuit to build yourself and wiring for a ready made commercial timer.

ADDENDUM

Cocked up on the drawing of the circuit (If you are making your own) the lead from RV1 was going to the wrong place. It would not have caused any damage. Should have been one hole further down.

I've also added a resistor to discharge C1. I noticed that if you set the alarm, then nipped back into the car, put the keys in, then came out immediately and set the alarm, the mirrors wouldn't close. It needed about 20secs. Not anymore.

Only minor issues.
