I know the satnav in my IS220D is designed to grey out certain functions when you are driving for safety reasons, but when you are crawling on the M25 and can't search for alternate routes it is intensely frustrating! this must surely be just a software issue, so does anyone know of a 'fix' that would allow me to work around this and not have numerous functions 'greying out' when you are moving?

They removed the software hack after V6. (Even 6.1 doesn't have it). How long have you had the car?
Other than that, you have to put a switch in to disconnect the speed signal.

It is an 06 plate. Where do I find the software version? ...and if mine is pre V6, any idea how I modify it?
