I have an RX350 18 months old and covered 33,000 miles. In this time I have replaced the front disc pads twice and each time the dealer has needed to change the Discs as well.
Can anyone tell me if this is nomal or not as this seems excessive to me. I did have a Chrysler Grand Voyager for 6 years and covered 100k miles and never ever needed to change the Discs.

Do you spend a lot of time in traffic? What reason has the dealer given with regard to changing the discs at each pad change? That sounds EXPENSIVE!

maybe the dealer is just trying it on, I cannot believe the discs would be worn after just 15k miles. Discs should last two or three sets of pads.

No more than average , it costs just under £400.
