Hi All,

I have a mark 2 GS300 and the near-side side light bulb (the smaller headlight at the front) needs to be changed. Could anyone tell me what the procedure is to change the light?

Many Thanks
shake
hi,

it would have been easier if it were the other side, the near side (passenger) has less space to get your hand in. i end up with a few cuts to my hand. sad.gif

you need to turn the connector either clockwise or counter clockwise, sorry i cant remember which exactly. but it will only move one way. once its moved, you should be able to pull away and change the bulb, then insert it back in and twist lock it into place!

Yeah, they just push and twist. If you've got fat hands like me it'll be a struggle smile.gif
I replaced my sidelights with LEDs now, so I hopefully won't have to change them for a while.

Further to this topic of side lights; How can i make them brighter? The standard 5w bulbs are very dim and don't look too good when on.

Just replace my Xenons with the 6000K Replacement D2R Bulb and i personally prefer them to the ones that where in there.

Thanks

You could try the hipower LED version bulbs or the pia versions as some give out a more cleaner light and dont look yellow so will match your headlamps a bit better? smile.gif

Hi,

Any ideas where I could get some from, as I agree the yellow aren't so nice, brighter ones would be a lot nicer.

Thanks

I had some xenon white led side lights on my GS to match the HID color as they sidelights looked yellow compared to the HID's.

Your right tho Shake, what a b*****d to fit
