i'll take the brake lines mate if possible.

are they the full set (front and rear) and in good condition??

is it an easy job to get them fitted??
inicol63
I interested should anyone pull out on rear spoiler / eyebrows

Ian
Rory
wish i'd seen this earlier, those pillar covers would have covered my dent
Rob's Lexx
i've got the brake lines coming my way, but can anyone confirm whether or not they'll deffo fit a 2000 reg IS200??

@Rory, think they're still for sale mate.

rob
DJ Wozza
I had a set fitted to mine at the WIM Meet Rob (BTW where were you ?)

Apparently there are 2 types, one for very early IS200's one for later 2000>on cars.
The set I have on my car, Nick The Greek had bought for his car & they didn't fit.
I dont have any more accurate info, Maz maybe able to help further, but they
may fit as the info above states
"GoodRidge Brake Line kit 00-On IS300 (but will fit IS200)"

If they fit, have em, I'm loving mine biggrin.gif
Rob's Lexx
was at a family engagement unfortunately that day mate.

how much difference do they make wozza??

mine's 2000, what year did the IS go into production?? thought it was 99?? if so, seems odd if they'd change the fitment so soon??

how easy will it be to ascertain if they are the right fitment ones?? is there much i'd need to strip down??

cheers

rob
DJ Wozza
Take the wheels off and they are pretty much there. One end to caliper, another to the hose connection point
as the brake line comes out of the wing. One thing to remember is connect them to the caliper so the line comes
from the back of the car in a forward direction to join the caliper to stop the line from fouling anything when you steer.

I have no idea why they were changed in 2000, but thats why Nick couldn't fit them to his car, hence they are now on mine.
As they were fitted along with new Mintex Pads, I wouldn't like to say if they on their own make a significant difference,
as my brakes were pretty good before, and are even better now biggrin.gif

Geez! The extra weight must pretty much negate any increase in power!!
