When I start my car and attempt to shift out of PARK, sometimes it gets stuck and won't release from PARK. I know there is a switch on the brake (so that the car won't have a quick lurch) which activates when stepping on it, but sometimes it doesn't click. Has anyone had this problem before, and is there an easy fix other than taking it to the dealer?

On my V300 Mk.ii, you can hold down the small red button to the right of the stick and move the stick into DRIVE.

The red button is for service mode - I assume you may have tried this already?

Also, if the speedo is out (fuse) or malfunction with display, this may not allow the car to move from park.

Not sure if this is of help but try Lexus expert advice.
