hi
this afternoon my ls400 developed a creak coming from the front passenger side. The creak is definatley suspension related as when you push the corner down it can be heard. Before i take it into a garage could somebody shed some light of what it could be?
Could it be possible that due to the warm spell one of the joints has dried out and started creaking?

My 1996 LS400 has started to do exactly the same thing - also on NSF. It started about five days ago and I also suspect the weather may be something to do with it. Itwill be interesting to see what someone comes up with...

Sounds like dried out rubber somewhere and as you know the usual suspects are the anti roll bar bushes ( sway bar) the upper /and/or lower arm bushes.
Mine have a squeek occasionally and i find a spray of the silicon "dashboard" spray eliminates the problem.

best to spary wd 40 or something like that over say the top arm take it out and try it and keep doing eash bit till it stops just so you then know what it was and what to spray next time
but most cars do squeek when its warm

hi, had the same problem for about 4 months, only to find out the brake pads i bought off ebay were fake and when you install them ,they were quite loose
and kept knocking on the caliper and the car, i just changed all the pads on the car and i have not heard any noise since.

yup, plenty of creaking from my car too. It's definitely heat related but not sure how to stop it.
