Hi All,

been looking at the under shassis braces from Option racing on ebay, parts seem very cheap, almost too good to be true??? :unsure: :shutit:

im not going to posta link because it always goes wrong when i do but its ebay item number [b]330255924001[/b]

what do people think, worth a try???? for that price seems like it might be worth a gamble???

can only help IMHO.

As they arent replacements their extra parts to strengthen the Chassis so worth a try.

Thats what i thought......still not certain though??? don't know if i should just spend the extra and get the cusco ones??? although looking at the cusco ones they look almost the same.............although i still need to get the arb's as well :whistling:

Plus some other projects before the track days start! :shifty:

I don't know if it's the same in the IS, but the mk2 GS has got a pretty tiny front lower chassis brace from the factory. I replaced that one with an aluminum one which was stiffer and larger, and I added the rear lower chassis brace too. It did make the chassis stiffer when pushing the car on a corner (I also had upper braces, front and rear).

However, bear in mind, that making the chassis stiffer will transfer forces when cornering to the weakest link in the suspension, which usually happens to be the bushes/balljoints. They can wear out quicker if the car is made much stiffer from stock.
