Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has this part for sale really.

The heatsheild for the front exhaust on my IS200 is rattling and the whole part needs to be replaced. I have done a DIY job on it at the moment which has worked and also lasted quited a bit to be honest, but it will need to be sorted properly once and for all by replacing it.

I have attached an image which highlights the bit I am looking for.
If anyone has a spare going or even knows of a scrappy that has one, I'd really appreciate it if you can get in touch.

If it's true what you say (I doubt if it can't be welded) your're cat is ruined.
Don't know about second hand parts but scrap yards ask 300 ish in Euro's for them new and original the cost a fortune.

I would try to repair or if not have a new one made from an aftermarket cat.

Why would the cat be ruined ?

If were talking about that heatshield which is integrated around the front pipe, you just have to remove it, if its even possible...

Yes the heatshield around the cat is knackered. I know a lex tech and he goes you can remove it, but all the ******* from the road will stick to it, plastic bags, etc as it get proper hot. After i found it was that making the noise, I did tighten it up and wedge a smallbit of metal into it, but i keep on having to adjust it back in place. I will keep a look out for the part. But its that part as a whole with the cat inside it.
