This is the LE Grille:

This is the Sport Grille (it is currently in Silver):

These are the gauges. I bought them but never used or installed them, hence being boxed. They were going to go in a single DIN lower panel in the cente console angled toward the driver. Although the box depicts needles, they are actually digital:

No worries regarding the rear skirt.
No I don't have the pod, but I can pass you the contact details for the place I was going to purchase from. They are £10 inc VAT

where will that particular pod mount??
when will u know regarding the rear skirt and what colour and condition is it at the minute??
Jamie
Aug 2 2008, 07:53 AM
The holder I was referring to mounts in a single DIN panel. Obviously the alternatives are dash mounted, pillar mounted, or even custom made for around £50.
I will know about the rear skirt on the Wednesday coming. The details on it are that it is brand new (thus umpainted), boxed and as it is genuine TRD equipment it is made from ABS plastic as oppose to fibreglass etc. oh and as I mentioned it comes with the OEM fitting kit.
All the best,
Jamie

Its a well known FACT that the auto gauge are cheap nasty gauge

(please check other car forums)
But if anyone wants a cheap nasty gauge, nows your chance

Thanks for the input, Gord, but as you've probably gathered by now, very few people are interested in your comments - including myself

Feel free to post up any links as I really don't care. Many people bought these at JAE last year from their stand and I'm pretty sure that the organisers of that particular show would not allow a cheap and nasty company to ruin a reputation

If any one would like to see animations / videos of these in action just give me a shout...
All the best,
Jamie

Hi all,
Just a polite notice to request that this thread be kept clean.
NOTICE: If a moderator could delete all the last posts that are not related to the sale of the items up and until my post in reply to Rory (#21) this would be appreciated and only fair. Also with exception to Rob's last post as well.
Many thanks,
Jamie

Sorry you had to be the subject of the disagreement on this thread so my apologies. I can assure you that they are not cheap and if the owner, Nick, of Gauge Place was aware of the comments expressed here then I'm sure he would have something to say regarding that - whether it be legally or socially.

Just a quick interjection if I may.
Firstly a customer of mine bought guages made by this company and Steve @ Charleworth had a nightmare in fitting them. He said the quaility was rubbish.
In life you get what you pay for.
Nothwithstanding that several customers/members have had problems with greddy guages and I would not call them cheap & cheerful

Aug 5 2008, 12:27 PM
I was just wondering why..... if the gauges were of such good quality , and you bought them @ JAE last year (kind of inferred above)
why have they not been fitted to your car ???
Jamie
Aug 5 2008, 12:37 PM
Gotta love forum interrogations

Never fitted as I wanted to fit a single DIN motorised screen in the upper DIN and the single DIN gauge panel in the lower. Can't afford the screen I wanted so I see no point in following the route I was. The TRD cenre pod only takes 60mm so pointless in keeping them.
Oh and they weren't purchased from JAE.
Ta muchly,
