Been thinking about buying a IS200 but after looking into it, the RS200 may be more for me. I know some people have their views on Imports but is it really worth it?

I need to take into consideration the Insurance as it will be an import, the tax and parts. Im torn on whether to go for the stock IS200 Sport or an import, like Red Panda's which is within my budget to buy it and get it back on the road. What do you all reakon?

Interesting one. I have always wanted an RS200, having grown up on Celica's I have a soft spot for the 4 cylinder. But went for the IS in the end, with a supercharger!

Well i finally got one!! After debating about it and not being able to find a decent RS200, i am the new owner of this IS200 Sport:



Will get some better pis at a later date......and when the weather is better.

Tell me about it, any idea of what springs to go for?

I'd go for the TTE or the Tein springs matey, if my TTE coilovers ever pack up as they seem quite a good setup and not a bad price for known brands ,

What wheels are on it mate?

or you could go for the Eibach springs, exactly the same as the TTE springs but a little cheaper, or theres HKS, TEIN,

There 19" from wheel mania. Not too sure on what the model is but im in 2 minds whether to change them or not. Will get it lowered and see where i go from there.

Where can i get them from?

Is there any where on the LOC forum where you can post a log of your car so people can keep tabs and look at it from time to time?
