Hi .
Looking at a 1 year old RX400H from a non-lexus dealer, its done 13500 miles and will be (first service) serviced at Lexus before pick-up . What i want to know is has the warranty expired/void because its gone over the mileage , but not the time from first reg ?
Cheers .
Jon .

I doubt it would be an issue, but if you're worried just give Lexus GB a quick call to check before you buy

Cheers ears .
It just concered me as a customer who had a shogun had gone over by 1100 miles and they voided his warranty .
On the Rx is it 12,000 miles or 10,000 miles for the first service ?

they cannot void the warranty.
when a warranty claim is made it is only done on that specific part of the vehicle...engine , gearbox, exhaust etc etc.
so the only warranty they could refuse to honour, could be an engine warranty, not the whole car warranty, and then the manufacturer has to prove that the failing is a direct result of the engine not being serviced by 1000 miles..........something that would not stand up in court
