When I took my car on the ferry the alarm went off every minute - the motion of the waves just set it off so I ended up unlocking the car for the duration.

On the way back I stopped off at a dealer and they showed me how to lock the car but with the motion sensor disabled - unfortunately I have forgotten how to do it. :-(

Can someone remind me? I seem to recall that it's some combination of presses using the Satellite Switches.

Are you sure it has a motion sensor ( as in movement of car )? I thought all you could disable was the interior sensor.

I remember reading somewhere about a motion sensor to prevent the car from easily being hoicked away and stolen ... but maybe I'm mistaken ...

I found that, with the engine off, if you press the satellite button you can disable the intrusion sensor ... so I guess that this is all I can do.
