My IS had its first trip over to The Island at Easter this year. Less fun than taking the bike, but I can confirm that an IS300 goes pretty well on the mountain road. I can recommend a very good family run hotel to stay at, although I must warn you that they drive a Scooby!

Indeed it is, got a mate that works at the harbour as well *may* be able to get discounted ferry from Heysham.

And also got a mate who had/has a hotel over there will have to see if he's still got it.

sounds as a good plan - count me in I've just back two weeks ago from my EUROTRIP I've got maximum from my Lexie. But it was boring after one hour - straight roads - I need a challenge
