my lexus doesnt feel as smooth as it used to be.

it seems to give off some vibration at idle and doesnt seem to rev as clean as previous.

I did have the engine management light come on on my trip back from WIM meet. It came on whilst accelorating, i backed off immeadiatly and it went off. Accelerated again and it came on again, stayed on for a few mins, went off and hasnt coem on again since.

there is also a slight squeel that seems to be coming from around the alternator area.

when turning off, there is some times like a clunking noise.

any thoughts??

anybody near nottingham with an ODB reader??

Never had that problem with my Tezza but it sounds like a sensor problem. Get a diagnostic check on the car and see what error codes it come up with and then you might be able to find the source of your problem.
