Hello Matt
Yes, I did have one of these. They work but you finish up with a birds nest of wire across and underneath the dash, particularly if you use the cigarette liughter socket for power. If you use the internal batteries it is better but thye last about 6 hours total. Regarding coverage....I tried it from Wantage(OXON) to York, via A34,A43,M1,A1,A64. It stayed locked on most of the way particularly on the BBC channels. Classic Fm was also fine but some of the independants/local ones drop out fairly quickly. Also, some of the channels, have ended transmission due to costs so virtually you have the BBC, Classic FM, Virgin Radio. The JAzz, BFBBS, Capital LIfe and some of the other commercial staitons have all packed in. Audio quality was good but with a little background hiss. This is purely due to the Digital channels having to be converted to FM to be picked up on the radio....so its FM really!!
In the end I sold it on e-bay and stuck to FM plus the CD's !! Mainly because of all the wires hanging about and few extra channels, little difference in quality
