Alrite mate,
You could be best going to the Prolex uk website and sending him a message.
He does a turbo kit for the Is200,
As for cost, it depends what you want and how much power, but your looking at a couple of Grand at least, plus a lot of time.

Hi welcome to loc mate

turbo, well if you fitting yourself about 3k using new parts, fitted about 4k

you should be ok for 240 ish bhp, if you wanting more you need to sort the standard engine ( rods + pistons )
curly
Aug 12 2008, 07:23 PM
Looking to get about 210 ish iv got 2500 to 3000 pound to spend so should be ok with that then

Aug 12 2008, 07:56 PM
Well for that sort of power you want to try and find a TTE charger kit, they come out at 200bhp.
In fact if you look in the cars for sale section, theres all the IS you'll every need in Lee_icemans Silver TTE charged IS200.

Hi, Welcome.
TTE supercharger is a better route to take for 200-220hp, and like Stav said, Lee has a lovely one for sale, think he wants just over £7k for it (bargin). Check for sale section.

TTE supercharger is bolt on kit, you dont need to do anything else to you engine (internal) but thay are very hard to come by now
sparkystav
Aug 13 2008, 06:04 PM
No Internal work is needed as long as you keep the boost Below 0.5, the standard setup runs at 0.3 bar.
What do you mean by how much aprt from the charger? you sourcing one from elsewhere?
Stav

So how do you up the boost to 0.5 if the standard set up runs at 0.3??
Cheers,

I remember talking to you in southend a while ago. Liked the look of the car and the turbo, was able to get hold of a 3.0lt supra engine N/A a month ago, and thought about turbo'ing that but decided to go for a charger instead

He wasnt happy, he has told me to have it booked in to a garage and fitted Professionally! I cant really argue with him as he did give me the money to buy it! Has really

So does anyone know of a good (reasonably priced) place to get it done??

I tried to change the manifold to the De-Cat one this weekend but it wouldnt come out as the Cats were getting caught on the Steering colum bit! then started to rain so i had to leave it in! Just seems to be taking ages to get it all on the car lol!

Worth a try mate

and if i remember right you have to seperate the steering from the lower joint to fit the manifold

I did that job on Lee-iceman's lex when we fitted his S/C at my brothers house

Just noticed were a bit

maybe a good idea to start a new topic if you want to find out a bit more
