Hi there, wondering if anyone out there can tell me wether I can swap a 5sp auto IS200 speedo with a 5sp auto RS200Z?

Would it work properly?

I am in the US and have a 2002 IS300 MT. If you can figure out what we need to do to swap the guage cluster, I'll swap with you. Mine has a mpg meter where yours has an oil temp, otherwise I think they are the same but I'd have to know what's involved in the swap before executing. Let me know if you are interested.

from what i can gather the printed circuit for the Altezza guage is different to the IS200/300 one, if you can do micro-electronics, getting the oil guage to work should be no problem.

a problem that should be looked at though, is the speedo calibration........you may need the altezza speed sender, also the problems could lay with the instrument ECU located behind the dash
