I'm thinking youre initial thought is correct ;o)

i am mate just wanna see if any poor soul has fitted one of these with their claimed 30hp increase there's no way they can create the same pressure as a mechanical supercharger with an electric motor.

I'm wondering if anyone has as well, i mean how many positive feedback do these sellers have!! quite a lot actually for a £100 hairdryer motor

the whole logic is flawed so it wont improve anything.....infact the additional weight of the unit would actually cause you to go a little slower ;o)

Its because people convince themselves that it has improved the performance or feel stupid and dont want everyone to see that theyve just been ripped off by 100 quid...

I have an alternative cheaper version - Its a section of hosepipe with a plastic funnel attached - you then hang this out the drivers window collecting all the air (have you put your hand out the window when doing 50mph?) which you then poke back under the bonnet and shove the end of the pipe into your air filter.
Exactly the same performance enhancement and can be done for around £8.
